Why window integration fails
Windows and doors are envelope penetrations. Without proper head flashing, pan flashings, and continuous weather barrier tie-in, water enters the wall assembly at the perimeter — regardless of unit quality.
What we install
We install vinyl, fiberglass, and aluminum window and door systems sized to the performance grade (PG) a building's height, exposure, and location require under the NAFS standard — Residential (R) and Light Commercial (LC) class units for houses and low-rise strata buildings, and Commercial (CW) or Architectural (AW) class systems for larger multi-family and commercial projects. Where an architect or envelope consultant has already specified a product line, we install to that specification.
Integration with the envelope
Every installation includes head flashing, sill pans, jamb flashing, and membrane tie-in to the surrounding weather barrier. We coordinate with cladding and waterproofing scopes where required.
Energy efficiency

Do you install commercial-grade windows?
Yes. For multi-family and commercial projects we install NAFS-rated Commercial (CW) and Architectural (AW) class window systems from Canadian manufacturers, selected to meet the performance grade required for the building's height, exposure, and location. If your project has already been specified by an architect or envelope consultant, we install to that specification.
Can you replace windows without replacing cladding?
Often yes, with careful detailing at the perimeter. We assess whether the surrounding assembly also requires attention.
