Brands and equipment
We install and service equipment from major manufacturers available in the Canadian market, including Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Bosch, and Napoleon. For heat pump installations, we specify units listed on the NEEP Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pump (ccASHP) product list — equipment rated to maintain heating capacity down to -25°C to -30°C, which is also a requirement for BC Hydro and FortisBC rebate eligibility.
Rebates and efficiency
Homeowners replacing electric baseboard, radiant, or forced-air heating with a heat pump may qualify for the CleanBC Home Renovation Rebate Program, delivered jointly by BC Hydro and FortisBC. Current rebates offer up to $4,000 for a whole-home heat pump that meets 100% of your heating load at -5°C, or up to $1,500 for a partial-home installation. Income-qualified households can access enhanced rebates of up to $12,000 (centrally ducted) or $9,000 (mini-split/multi-split) for whole-home systems, or $5,000 for partial-home installations.
To qualify, the heat pump must be NEEP cold-climate certified with a variable-speed compressor, and installation must be completed by a Home Performance Contractor Network member. We handle the equipment specification and rebate paperwork as part of your installation. Rebate amounts and eligibility rules are set by BC Hydro and FortisBC, are subject to change, and are only available while program funding lasts — we'll confirm current amounts and requirements at the time of your quote.
